Being Silly

Wearing daddy's hat and playing in my jammies with mommy. It is so fun when she doesn't have to go to school. I have also been making a lot of new sounds with my mouth and tongue.

This is me posing and being silly in my new jammie pants that Grandma Grimm made for everyone. I am just hanging with my belly out! Pretty fun!

Yogurt

I love hanging out on the couch like a  big boy.  Mom and Dad take the cushions off so I can get on and off by myself.  Dad loves watching TV with me, his favorite is Elmo's Rootn' Tootn' Country Jamboree.... oh wait that is my favorite!
This is me eating yogurt for breakfast this morning.  I look like Santa.  I really like eating yogurt with a spoon and doing it all by myself.

Our friend took this picture of us in our new living room.  Jaden is healthy in this picture, but he has been sick the last couple of days.... puking, high temperature.  Dad is home with him today, we are hoping he feels better really soon! 

Thanksgiving

I had such a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mommy made dinner for daddy and me, it was great, I especially loved the cranberries!  Then we went to grandbo and poppies.  I played race cars with my cousin Lucas, and then played with Uncle Billy too.  It was a fun weekend!

Sweet and Innocent

Jaden was 16 months old a couple days ago when this picture was taken.  We have been having so much fun playing together after school lately, since I doesn't have volleyball anymore.  My varsity volleyball team went to state this year, for the first time in school history.  They made it to the semifinals, so they were the top 4 in class 3A.  It was really exciting, but I was gone for 2 days and 1 night, and Jaden decided to be really mad at me when I got back.  He threw lots of fits, but then the next day he was fine, it was such a terrible 2 moment, even know he isn't 2 yet.  

I'm a Zebra!

I am finally adding Jaden's Halloween pictures.  Sorry it took so long.  He is the cutest zebra I have ever seen.  His tail was adorable!

John and Sarah

Great guesses we do look like Bill and Hillary, but we are actually Sarah Palin and John McCain.... good job Mallory's mom! :)  Look for pictures of Jaden as a zebra soon, we had a really fun halloween, then we went to MN to visit grandma sandy and grandpa marty. 

My Friends and Halloween

On Saturday my friend Caitlin was in Nevada visiting my other friend Abby. We had a lot of fun playing. This is a picture of Caitlin and me looking outside at a creeping catapiller.

Then mommy and daddy went to a Trivia Night and dressed up for Halloween. Can you tell who they are?

Fall is here....

It has been forever since I have posted.  From starting school and volleyball I haven't had a chance to upload pictures at the office, so I finally brought the cord to school.  Jaden is getting so big and so smart, he is such a delight to be around.  Other big news at our house, is that we bought a house!  We are super excited, we move in the weekend before Thanksgiving, it will be such a nice holiday present for us to be settled in a  house of our own.  It is beautiful by the way too.  I will add pictures when we move in!

Here is Jaden in his jammies, playing in his room.  He loves to play and read books.  We will frequently look in the back when we are in the car and he always has his nose in a book.  

Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Marty came to visit a few weeks ago and we went to the pumpkin patch.  We had so much fun Jaden cried when we had to go home.  This is Jaden playing with the pumpkins, he thought the small ones were balls, and he would say, "ba" and then throw it.  Thankfully they didn't explode!
Playing in the leaves, I taught him to throw them up in teh air... boy that is fun!
Jaden loves baths, and reading his farmer bath book.  He will say "tractor" when we read that book.  He also loves throwing the bath letters over the edge of the tub and laughing at mommy getting wet.  

summer time

This is me playing in Grandma Sandy's flowers. My mom and I went to visit for 3 days the second weekend of August. We had so much fun!
This is me playing in Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Marty's pool, so refreshing!

Last weekend my cousin Lucas was here for the parade, he brought his sisters too. We had a lot of fun in the wagon and playing with toys! we both got to be in the parade too! :)

update

Hello everyone!  My mom has been slacking and hasn't added a new picture for awhile, but we've been really busy.  Last Monday I started day care at Cindy's house.  It is really fun and I have a friend there that is almost my same age.  Mommy started school yesterday and volleyball.  She is teaching part time reading and part time middle school Spanish in the Colo - NESCO district, and coaching freshman volleyball here in Nevada.  I do miss her a lot when she is gone so much.  Daddy is working a lot at both the office and grandma and poppy's farm.  I got to go with him to Grandbo and Poppy's on Saturday and I had so much fun!  Then on Sunday mommy and daddy took me to the pool, it was so fun.  and I got to watch them play softball and I was a really good boy.  I will continue to talk mommy into adding some new pics.  Love, Jaden

Pool and Park

This morning my mom took me to the pool for the Little Flippers times, it is only for kids 6 and under. We saw my friend Will there and got to swim for about an hour. I was getting pretty cold though, my lips were almost blue. We even got to go down the huge slide. I had a blast. The picture of me in my stroller was when we were leaving. Then we got to stop at the park to play on our walk home. I am now able to climb the stairs up to the steering wheel. I love the pool and the park. I hope I get to go again soon.

Cheerio on my face!

I had an 'O' on my cheek while I was eating breakfast this morning, and mommy and daddy thought it looked funny. On Wednesday afternoon mommy, daddy and I went for a bike ride to visit our friends across town, the Sullivans. This is me in my bike trailer.

My Birthday Party

This is me eating my first cupdake at my birthday party. I loved it, i ate most of the cupcake, and had blue frosting EVERYWHERE! I also got a popcorn popper push toy. I love it! I had such a fun time with my family and friends, and I got such nice toys, movies and books. Thanks everyone for being there. I love you!

Happy Birthday Jaden

Today is my birthday, and I found my present in mommy and daddy's room. It is a baseball bat and ball, now I can play with my friend Mallory. I will post some pictures of it later, right now I am just lovn' the day! :)

Erica and Dougs wedding weekend!

I got to play at Grandbo and Poppy Grimm's house all weekend. We got to play with my cousin Lucas, and see all the older ladies at church. And it is so super fun chasing Pawsy all over the house, (I LOVE puppies!) This is a picture of me riding a bike outside at Grandbo's. oh and FYI it's my birthday on Friday!

Little Flippers

Last week I has swimming class, called Little Flippers. I impressed all the life guards when I blew bubbles. It was just to help me get used to the water. It was really fun, and I met some new friends there too.

Doing Laundry

I was a very good helper to mommy today, I took all the laundry out of the basket, and then she folded it! Boy, what would she do without me???? oh, it is VERY humid today, so I didn't want to wear my shirt, out house was 77 degrees, so we are hanging out at the office today! Have a wondeful day!

Bath Time

I love taking baths. Last night I got to go with mommy and daddy to their softball game, I purposly got really dirty in the dirt so that I would get a good long bath! This picture was taken when daddy put the bucket on my head, and called me, "bucket head".

Reading

I really enjoy reading People Magazine. I am so smart. I also like taking mom's papers and walking around with them. We had a very fun Memorial Day weekend. I got to see many of my Grandmas and Grandpas. And I got to help mommy and daddy catch 33 toads from Grandbo's pond. She doesn't like toads in her pond.

Playing at Grandma Grimms

I had such a fun Saturday playing at Grandma and Poppys. I swang with Grandma, I saw the fishes in the pond, I saw the cows and the sheepies, and there are baby lambies....they are so cute. and I got to pet Pawsy (Poppy's dog).

Mommy, Daddy and I took Great Grandma Buhr out to lunch for her birthday, that was fun too. I love nice weather.... I was sick of being cooped up all winter.

taking my first steps

I am so big now, I can walk! well I can take steps, I have taken about 9 at one time.

Peanut Butter

My mom and dad will give me anything that I haven't seen before to keep me busy, this time it was the peanut butter jar. I had fun playing with it.

I got my second tooth today, it finally popped through, but I think a little more will come, this teething thing just doesn't feel very good. I am also now eating Cheerios, I like them, except for when they get stuck in the middle of my tongue and then I puke. But I like chewing them on my sore gums.

I will be 9 months old on Friday, 3/4 of the way to 1 year old. :)
